Bones cringe and woo,
weeping thoughts of what was.

Chains rattle across the cement floor.
Voice of a familiar specter
beseeches to strangle
the unseen violinist
whose strings have gone mad.

inexplicable
mythic

erotic.
In
a playpen
shocked,
brain
heals itself.
I

Roll
the dice,
watch
out for coyotes.
No
more sweet sentiment.

Michael Brandonisio lives in Brooklyn, NY. He
started writing, poetry mostly, when he was sixteen.
He also takes abstract, lyrical,
and cityscape photographs. His poems have graced the pages of Monday Night, Slipstream and Thieves Jargon.
His photographs have appeared in the horror and fantasy webzine, Chimaera Serials (August 2006) and
in print in Louis Liard.
