Since I held a
guitar in my
Sweaty palms, and
felt the
Strings drag across
my
Bloody fingers.
For it has been
so very long
That it seems so
far removed
That you doused
all my hopes
And dreams and
replaced
Them with anger.
For it has been
so very long
Since I held you
so closely,
Perhaps obsessively
so,
As I gripped your
throat
Within my bloody fingers.
