Liquid Darkness
Kenneth
Vincent Walker
Liquid darkness
from
Whence we’ve come
Clothed in nothing
But the silent
Sun.
Expelled from the
Comforting warmth
Entombed, and of
the
Privacy of the
womb.
In language there
is no
Need to hum when
the
Heartbeat alone
forms
A most copious
drum.
Expendable energy
for
The long turbulent
trek
Ahead, from the
land of
The living to the
land
Of the dead.
