Ode to Chateau Marmont
Kenneth
Vincent Walker
So notoriously
And deliciously
Scandalous, yet
Nonchalant this
Chateau Marmont.
A castle set high
Upon a hill where
Indiscretions are
Handled
discreetly.
Even if these
walls
Could talk you
trust
They dare not
tell.
All the rage,
ripped
Right from rag-tag
Tabloid pages of
Hearsay, innuendo
And wild rumors of
Hollywood’s Golden
Age; celebrated by
Celebrity fits of
rage,
Debauchery,
tragedy
And untimely death
Indelibly etched
in
The headstones of
Patrons past on
the
Sunset Strip; alas
Boho hip in the
most
Spirited place
there is
On the left coast
in
West Los Angeles,
CA;
Hotel on the hill
odelay!
