Dead Ringer
Kenneth
Vincent Walker
For it is left up
to
Me that I should
Bear the entirety
Of weight upon
My shoulders. You
Quiver and quake;
Yet, I am able to
see
What others missed
With a certain
degree
Of anonymity
firmly
In harms way on
any
Given day weeping
Loved ones,
friends
And anyone needy
Until that bitter
end
Finally finds its
way
In, to offend, up
end,
To bend appendages
Grievously in
Death.
