Rotten to the Core
Kenneth
Vincent Walker
There is a
sickness,
Some say a nature,
Which lies dormant
Deep within the
core
Of Man; which
mustn’t
Be trifled with or
this
Disturbed nature
shall
Commence its
descent
Regressing back to
the
Jungle from whence
it
Crept and slept on
the
Cold ground in
caves;
Having cold
thoughts
Of killing beyond
food
For survival, as
to undo
Their rivals, to
conquer
Torture and
torment.
