My Childhood Snapshot
Kenneth Vincent Walker
I remember long
ago,
Just a mere tot,
I’d
Avoid sleep at all
cost
And stayed awake
‘Till I’d drop;
looking
Forward each week
To Friday nights
when
I’d watch Lon
Chaney
Jr., Lugosi and
Karloff
Into the wee hours
of
The night; frightened,
Enticed by
monsters
Craving human
life. A
Fantastical
fascination
Of fantasy in
black and
White
cinematography.
For a boy this was
truly
A delight to be
horrified,
Yet exhilarated at
the
Same time slot in
this
My childhood
snapshot.
