When
I Find You
Kenneth Vincent Walker
When I find you through
The darkness and touch
Your hand, you touch my
Soul, which alleviates my
Sullen blindness to worlds
I've never even seen before.
I close my eyes and you're
Still with me for when
They're open it's as black
As coal. Some say that the
Darkness doesn't suit me
Though disenchantment
Is all part of growing old.
