Christopher Friend

I drink the wine of passion to

wash away the pain.

The light of the moon

blesses my skin

leaving it blue grey

like the ash leftover

from a funeral pyre.

My eyes have become

little red dots, yet I

see everything .

The night

holds no mystery

leaving me to

wander among the shadows.
