Daniel
G. Snethen
Kid’s left-handed
pull
cleared leather
first,
but he did not
squeeze
the trigger, instead
he backed away.
Who is it, he asked,
in Spanish,
who the hell is it?
Garret recognizing
the youthful voice,
drew his revolver.
Pulled the trigger
twice
before blowing
William
Bonny straight to
hell.
