Wooden Soldiers
Kenneth Vincent Walker
Tho wooden soldiers
Wouldn't mind; those
Of flesh and bone lie
Motionless, bleeding,
At the disconcerting
Site of ardent fighting.
Weapons of war are
Forged ushering in a
Grim reality, crimes
Against humanity, or
Perhaps an age-old
Depravity repeatedly
Brought
back to life.
