The Curse of Verse
Kenneth Vincent Walker
Looking further afield
Beyond the obvious
Competitive wheels.
Verse archaic in charm,
An affront affirming that
Form share no platform.
For disdain seemingly
Ever so slight, but when
Confronted lips are bitten.
See, I've seen it all first-
Hand, the arcane best kept
Buried in the sands of time
To
remain forever forbidden.
