An allure so familiar,
Subliminally sublime.
For the hour upon
us
Is but a brief
moment
In time, and the
sweet
Succulent fragrance
Captured in the
flesh,
Not merely in rhyme.
The essence of
power
In a passionate
crime,
As we stalk our
next
Selected victim
along
The Avenue of Pines.
