Halo Around the Sun
Kenneth
Vincent Walker
(Florida)
I was there for
the
Endeavor launch in
The wee hours of
an
Exceptional
morning.
Later that same
day
On the beach saw a
Halo around the
Sun.
(Pennsylvania)
I was there
driving on
The 83S highway in
the
Wee still hours of
the
Morning directly
beneath
Space X as its
fumes
Spanned the sky
the
Breadth of the Enterprise.
(New York)
I was there those
many
Decades ago when
in the
Wee hours of the
morning
I saw a red light
in the sky
Out in the
desolate country;
Moving
erratically, urgently,
As a firefly
burning brightly,
Burning intentionally
for
me.
