Bindi Lavelle: Maker's Image

Maker's Image

By Bindi Lavelle

Metallic motion

Artificial and fluid

Limbs crafted

From steel by the maker's hand

Movement executed

By design

For desires

Destruction and production

Outcomes from output

Following the maker's vision

Human goals lead to corruption

And in the machine's hand,

Corruption becomes production

Greed becomes need

Desires by design

From dark recesses of the maker's mind

Dark desire

Data

Repeat and increase efficiency

Metallic malice

In the image of the maker.
