I’m
watching a trailer on HBO,
announcing
a rerun of Rome.
What
appeared to be Julius Caesar,
was
screaming to his army.
“Our
beloved Republic is in the hands of madmen.”
He
was referring to outraged Senators,
denouncing
his dictatorship to a concerned throng.
I
surfed to FOX, they’re still defending zero tolerance,
explaining
that children taken from their parents are illegals.
I
guess they’re expecting a rerun.
The
SOTH from Louisiana is interviewed,
explains
we can’t send aid to children in Ukraine,
until
there are changes to southern border policy,
which
he just torpedoed last week,
because
in conversations with the Lord
it
was deemed needed, but premature.
Alabama
sends a football coach to the Hill,
thinks
he’s a Senator, wants to bet the slight favorite,
in
his mind, Putin, so, he votes against aid to the other side.
Jon
Stewart is back, reminds us, both candidates are too old,
Alexa
in the background is playing ‘Mrs. Robinson’,
Every
way you look at this you lose.
I’m
wondering, where are our outraged Senators,
and
where’s the concerned throng?
When
is God going to ring me up,
and what do illegal five-year olds look like.
