Reduce me to ashes
Sprinkle me in the garden
To help the flowers grow
Let the rain wash me down to the gutter, the sewer, the ocean
Where fish can breathe me in
Before they get hooked by the fisherman
Who sells his catch to the market
Where you buy fresh fish
So we can be together again

When you're being beaten to death by your own stupidity
And when all the pain you've caused comes back to infect your conscience like cancer
And when you're on your deathbed choking on words that you said to hurt others
And the last note of that fucking annoying Beatles song has faded from the ears of the last mourner to leave your funeral
And your rotting, rancid, stinking flesh has fallen from your bones and turned to dust and has been forgotten about in a six-foot hole in the earth
And Satan himself has claimed your black soul until the end of eternity and beyond
Only then will I be happy

Dennis is a politically incorrect, mad at the world, X Generation, heathen, musician, and writer from Orange County California. Dennis moved to North Georgia in 2007 and is preparing for the inevitable zombie apocalypse. He has been writing in one form or another since high school. His warped rantings and observations about the cesspool of a world we are surviving in keeps his spiraling descent into madness at bay.

Dennis has had his poetry published by the League of American Poets, the American Poets Society, The Horrorzine, 63Channels, Black Petals, Death Head Grin, Word Salad Poetry Magazine, and Tree Killer Ink. He has released two spoken-word CD's, A Random Litter of Thought (2006) and Paid in Full (2007) on Batteryface Records. A short film of Dennis’ poem Hollywood was made available to coincide with the release of Paid in Full.
