MY PALIMPSEST

The symphony of brain and voice in the phraseology of angled thought:

Solar potions made from boneless tropes, Cool-aid Octaves,

and long falls from Planes.

Sleeveless definitions penned from the un-toiled hand of

toiled devotion.

I draw a crooked line to see your familiar smile—

A simile of past touch.

Parchment slips to palimpsest,

arced and delivered from the chest.
